We believe ~helping your children realize the value of an education is extremely important. Children who see their parents supporting them and their school tend to behave better and have a greater chance of reaching proficiency. The KY Dept. of Education supports the document "The Missing Piece of the Proficiency Puzzle" which says the "missing piece" is Family & Community involvement. Even if you only volunteer once in a while, it can have a positive impact on your child and school, and also provide a good opportunity to connect with teachers and other parents. Parent/school partnerships help ensure student success. So if you are planning to volunteer during the 2015/2016 school year, make plans to attend one of the following trainings.
South Magoffin Elementary – Aug. 25 at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday
Herald Whitaker Middle – Aug. 25 at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday
Salyersville Grade School - Aug. 26 at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday
North Magoffin Elementary - Aug. 27 at 1:00 p.m. Thursday
