Among the concepts covered is the idea that school libraries are integral to literacy and lifelong learning, whether it’s to sharpen reading skills or learn critical thinking skills that will help them navigate the internet.  For those without access to print materials or the internet at home, school libraries level the playing field, allowing everyone an equal chance at success and education.
