Students in Mrs. Amy’s 1st grade class got to enjoy the experience of writing and publishing a book titled, “When I Grow Up.” This will be something they can cherish for many years to come.
Magoffin County Schools are promoting Child Abuse Prevention Month next week. Please join in as we spotlight this important issue.
The MCBE regular meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2024, has been postponed to Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Salyersville Grade School Library.

Herald Whitaker Middle School will be conducting their 2024 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the HWMS Gym beginning at 6:30pm.

Magoffin County High School will be conducting Dance Team tryouts on Friday May 3, 2024, beginning at 5:00pm.
Mrs. Alicia’s second annual spring painting class has been rescheduled for April 26, 2024, beginning at 5:00pm

The annual FMCSA Road Safety Art Contest invites students in elementary through high school to use their creativity to raise awareness of how to stay safe on the road, particularly when driving, biking, or walking around large trucks and buses.
Beginning March 1st, 2024 Magoffin County Head Start/Preschool will be taking applications for the 2024/2025 school year.
