HWMS Students Attend Graphic Arts Camp

Students from the Herald Whitaker Middle School completed four days of Graphic Arts Camp at the BSCTC in Paintsville, KY. They participated in a variety of learning experiences along with multiple hands-on activities. While there, the students made tshirts, mouse pads, printed ink pens, and made vinyl, magnetic self portraits. Click Here to see more photos.

Sixth grade students from South Magoffin Elementary visited the Magoffin County Historical Society and Pioneer Village on Friday, April24. Historical members Randall Risner, Todd Preston, Toddie Preston, Patty Auxier, and Dorothy Wireman welcomed students and shared the history of Magoffin County.

HWMS will be having a Spring Dance on Friday, May 22nd, from 6-8p.m. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Magoffin County students are invited to attend. The admission is $3.00.
