Attention Eagles: Due to multiple closures and missed instructional days because of inclement weather, we are adjusting the date of our Annual Science Fair. The Science Fair, originally scheduled for February 12th, has been rescheduled to Tuesday February 17th. This change will give our students extra time to prepare their projects and ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate. Thank you for your flexibility and continued support! We can’t wait to see all of the amazing scientific thinking and creativity on display.
📚🎉 We are thrilled to announce some exciting transitions and additions to our SGS Eagle Family! First, a huge congratulations to Mrs. Breanna Arnett as she moves from teaching 5th grade math to becoming our new librarian! Her passion for education will surely inspire our students in this new role.
We also want to extend a warm welcome to our new special education teacher, Ms. Paige Russell, and our new 5th grade math teacher, Ms. Lindsay Cochran. We are so excited to have you both join our team!

New Schedule: - Thursday, December 18th at 9 AM: Grade Headstart through 2nd Grade Parents/Families - Friday, December 19th at 9 AM: 3rd Grade through 6th Grade Parents/Families If you have students in both groups, feel free to choose the day that works best for you and your family. Also, remember it is important that all students be present for both days of performances. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our 4th graders became balloon designers for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and wrote persuasive letters to convince Macy’s to pick their creation. From animals to superheroes to sweet treats, their ideas were impressive!
