SALYERSVILLE INDEPENDENT — Abby Barnett and Macy Williams represented Magoffin County as All-15th Region Girls’ Basketball honorees.
Barnett and Williams were each named All-15th Region Girls’ Basketball Honorable Mention. The Magoffin County duo earned the honors from the 15th Region Basketball Coaches Association.
As a junior in the 2024-25 girls’ high school basketball season, Barnett averaged 11.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Barnett led Magoffin County in both scoring and rebounding.
As a freshman in the 2024-25 girls’ high school basketball season, Williams averaged 10.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Williams ranked second in both scoring and rebounding for the Lady Hornets.
Barnett and Williams each will be carrying momentum into the 2025-26 girls’ high school basketball season.
